August Flight Drop 📉✈️

Curated flight deal’s to your dream destinations, every 4th Tuesday of the Month

Happy Tuesday Ajala and I hope you had a great Bank Holiday weekend!

Is booking a flight on your to-do list? Are you limited in time, dreading the endless searching but also somehow not wanting to overpay for said flight? I can save you time, money and headache as your personal flight finder.

Last Month I saved a fellow Ajala £400 flying multi-state to and within the US. This Month I helped an Ajala avoid Ryanair who was charging only £20 less than the £160 cheaper than usual British Airway flights I found for his specific itinerary, cabin bags included.

Do you want hand-picked flights for just a 10% commission on the savings I’ll find you? Send me an email with your travel preferences!

📢£65 | ✈️ Manchester or London ➡️ Reykjavik, Iceland

Sat 6 Dec 2025 - Sat 13 Dec 2025 London: book here/customise

Sat 6 Dec 2025 - Sat 13 Dec 2025 Manchester: book here

Booking note: Flights to Iceland are usually north of £150 return so this is your chance to have a wonderful pre-Christmas experience for more than half the flight cost! There’s plenty to do with tours that visit the arctic circle, glaciers, waterfalls and the geothermal pools as well as checking out the culture and winter stalls in the city. It goes without saying, but this will also be prime Northern Lights season!

📢£363 | ✈️ London ➡️ Hong Kong

Sat 15 Nov 2025 - Sat 22 Nov 2025 book here/customise

Booking note: It has been said that Autumn is one of the best season’s to visit Hong Kong during and that is exactly where these flights fall! Enjoy mid 20 temperatures, beautiful hikes just outside the city and even the beach. These flights include a checked bag and short-layovers but when trying to stimulate booking I found China Eastern’s website to be quite temperamental. Of the OTA’s I’d suggest lastminute, gotogate and trip as well known names… If you want to go for the lowest price (or any OTA tbh) do a bit of research and make sure you are comfortable booking with them first. Read my explainer and tips on booking with OTA’s.

📢£360 | ✈️ London ➡️ Bangkok, Thailand

Sun 14 Sept 2025 - Sat 10 Oct 2025 book here/customise

Booking note: These flights will get you to Thailand cheap and cheerfully with a checked bag included! It’s a 3 week itinerary whereby you can really travel around, getting to know Thailand in depth or, getting to know the region! This is a prime example of a flight deal that works well with my insider hack (shared below), meaning you could have a South East Asia adventure spending no more than £500 on airfare. (and let’s not forget how cheap food, and private room accommodations are in this region too).

📢£363 | ✈️ London ➡️ Jakarta, Indonesia

Sat 4 Oct 2025 - Sun 19 Oct 2025 book here/customise

Booking note: This price is for Air China flights and on this occasion I suggest booking with an OTA. The link takes you to a wide range of flight timings to choose from. I personally would opt for long layovers to be able to visit Beijing visa-free on the way there and back. But alternatively, Saudia is offering flights with short stopovers for around £80 more via an OTA. There's plenty to do on the island you'll land in, Java. But you can also buy a cheap flight to Bali and other parts of Indonesia or South East Asia from here.

Disclaimer: Price drops last anywhere between minutes and days, but never forever. Although I’ve personally verified these flight prices they may not be the same by the time you’ve clicked through. If you've missed out on a deal don’t worry, there will be more.

Insider Method: Cheapest Entry Hack

Would you happily tick of two or more destinations if it was cheaper than going to one?

I only realised this hack 3 years into my solo travels and it certainly isn’t something you see shared amongst those book in incognito myth-like tips flooding the internet. My insider hack which transforms expensive single-destination trips into multi-country adventures, for less, is finding the cheapest entry point into that region. From there you can easily use budget airlines or alternative transport to add on the destination(s) you desire. This is incredibly true for travel around South East Asia, getting into the Caribbean via North America and even within Europe.

But before we get into this, let me be clear that this hack works best for Ajala’s who have at least 10+ days for their trip, and who want to experience the extra countries they are travelling through. Otherwise it is indeed better to have the exact holiday you want with the limited time you have.

You might have noticed me in my booking notes hailing some flight deals as being great springboards into a region. Imagine you did book that flight to New York/Cancun/Miami for less than £300. During my gap year I booked a flight from Cancun to Barbados via Miami (which I gamed into being a weekend stopover) for just £80 more. A quick google search shows onwards flights for under ~£100 is still a thing. Although do compare this option because we are also getting better value UK- Caribbean flight drops now verses then.

It gets infinitely better in South East Asia, I’ve shared deals there for under £400. Now consider that you can get a cheap long-haul rtn flight and then fly to other countries for under £30, luggage included (!) Suddenly a 4 country multi-trip looks much more appealing than an £800 flight to your bucket list alone😄

Within Europe, there are nearby airports you can fly into for a fraction of the price and then get an onward bus or train for an hour or so to your actual destination. Like landing in Bratislava, seeing its charm and then travelling on a 1 hour bus to Vienna, or landing in Pisa, seeing a leaning tower and then travelling to Florence for less than the flight directly there.

Would you happily use this hack to see more destinations for less than visiting one?
